The technique used comes from traditional local knowledge, conveyed from one generation of potters to another since the last 22 centuries, or inspired by documents and works of archeologists at the National Centre of Scientific Research (CNRS) department of Medieval Mediterranean Archaeology.
You could follow some precautions when using or arranging your pottery: if you wish to stack the plates, place a cloth or cardboard to prevent scratches.
Avoid leaving them in water. Avoid temperature shocks. Last but not least, never place them in the deep freeze.
